(You assume correctly, Can.)
The other group will start heading towards you. As they get closer, Bernat will notice that they're wearing the same sort of things as the people who made up the bulk of Abelone's army. Hellen will respond to their presence by drawing her sword and Fel will move back behind everyone else. "EEEK!" Raider 1, from about 100' away. "Looks like we found some easy prey 'ere!"
(It's time to see how the combat rules fare when more than 2 PCs are involved. Surprise doesn't need rolling because everyone is aware of each other. It's basically a case of rolling initiative and declaring actions now by the looks of things.)
{ www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=99947 Party acts on segment 1, enemies act on segment 2.}
3 of the enemies have boardswords, 1 has a halberd and 1 has a heavy mace.
{Hellen will hold her action due to lacking armour. Fel will also wait for the enemies to advance before using Colour Spray on the one with the Halberd, which from what I can gather will instantly KO him without the need for a save due to how the spell works.}
{Each of the enemies will try to attack a different character after charging. This will give them +2 bonuses.} Halberd Guy will be removed by Fel before anything can happen if I'm understanding the rules correctly, Heavy Mace Guy will go for Bernat.}

(I ran out space in the last post.)
{Everyone else apart from Fel will be targeted by people who have broardswords. If Halberd Guy gets incapacitated before Fel uses Colour Spray, he'll use it on someone else and Hellen will charge if other people do so too. Fel will also move up to use SC if this occurs. Being as the enemies go second, I'll roll their attacks after party actions are resolved.}
(Incidentally, please could everyone post the relevant rolls when you post what you want to do?) { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=99954 6 to-hit means Hellen's attack won't hit anyone anyway.}

((I would roll a d20+Dex to spit acid in the approaching git's eyes right?))

(If your Dex mod is high enough to give a bonus to Ranged Attacks, you would. Sadly it's not high enough to give any bonuses so you just roll 1d20. I'm thinking that attack is kind of weak due to it only dealing 1d6 damage while having a 10 minute long cooldown. Would anyone mind if we altered it so anyone hit by it takes a -2 penalty to to-hit rolls for a minute or so?)

"Prey?" Kyrnec yips. "Who in hells are you, people?"
The gnoll shakes the sack with his belongings off his spear, then sets it firmly against the ground and awaits the incoming assailants.
{Set weapon against charge}
((It appears that my attack goes first, since my weapon is longer. Do I roll all the things now?))

((If you get acid in the face, you should really be taking some kind of penalty)) "Some of Abelone's thugs." Bernat mutters, testing the hammer's weight and hefting the shield. "Helen, let me take the initial hits." As they come closer, if the mace wielder is still around, Bernat will dart forward to ward away the mace attack (reduce the arc, therefore, in theory, the strength of it) and strike with the hammer for the face. Bernat actually specializes in longsword (not a bastard sword, a longsword) so who knows how this is going to go. {17 to hit. No bonus from 13 dex. Does he hit? www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=99999}{EDIT. Roll to damage too. 1 www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100009. Because of 16 strength I get +1, so 2 damage}

((Shouldn't 14 Dex give a +2 to ranged attacks?))

((Seems in OSRIC that you only get bonuses at 16+. So Bernat's 16 strength just gives him a +1 to damage. A 17 would give him a +1 to hit and a +1 to damage.))

Raider 1, to Kyr: "Your buddy's right, apart from the fact that we ain't thugs. We prefer the term soldiers."
(Styx, please could you roll your to-hit and damage before anything else happens? Same for you, Demon. Also, Can is spot-on. As I said yesterday, 3rd Edition cleared up a lot of stuff but this game is based off pre-3rd Edition D&D.)

After round 1, all enemies are still standing, except for Halberd Guy, who was so overawed by Fel's Cone of Technicoloured Light that he passes out.
{ www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100030 3 means Kyr misses when he's charged).
Broardsword Guy vs. Kyr: { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100031 11 misses.}
Slightly Blinded Boardsword Guy vs. Sah: { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100032 8 misses.}
Broardsword Guy vs. Hel: { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100033 7 misses.}
Heavy Mace Guy vs. Ber: { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100034 8 misses.}
Turn 1 results: Halberd-wilding enemy is unconscious, Bernat bruised one enemy slightly with his hammer, Sah managed to injure her attacker quite seriously while obscuring his vision enough to make him miss. His buddies don't have that excuse, however.
Round 2 initiative: { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100035 Enemy acts on segment 1, PCs at on segment 3.}
Rolling all attacks at once while having them affecting PCs in the order they were listed above (the last 2 are from the same guy; he has a special ability which lets him attack twice): { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100036 .} All attacks miss except for the first one targeting Bernat. The second attack misses him completely at least. { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100037 Bernat takes 4 damage.}
DMPC/Kyr actions:
Fel will throw a dart at the guy targeting Sah: { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100038 11 misses.} Hellen will try cutting her attacker: { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100039 misses too, another 11.} Kyr: { www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=100040 3 also misses.}
(Demon, Can, please roll better than I'm doing or this will be the most ridiculous fight since this other game I ran where nobody could hit each other.)
