So, 50 to go. And we can do two heals in the time period necessary to reprepare a spell.
I propose we do 10 rolls each and see if we can reach 50 within them. We'll then count how much time it will take.

Did you still want to set up some sort of healing ritual for this, Styx? If you did, I'm fine with it only taking time to sort out rather than needing any sort of components which need to be bought.

So me and ye roll and see just how many dice it takes to hit 50 and go from there? I roll 10d8 and got 47 total (And I get up to 4 healing spells per set): www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=138680So depending on your set of rolls we can sort out how many spell sets we need.

Actually, we should probably use Tempest's houserule of preparing one spell per 10 minutes. This gives us 2 casts per 10 minutes (unless level 2 spells take more time, since my heal is one), which is more than 6 per 8 hours (normal rest). So, Sahara's rolls: 10D8 = [7, 2, 4, 8, 4, 5, 4, 1, 4, 8] = 47 Kyrnec's rolls:1D8 = [3] = 3 1D8 = [4] = 4 1D8 = [7] = 7 1D8 = [7] = 7 1D8 = [1] = 1 1D8 = [7] = 7 1D8 = [7] = 7 1D8 = [4] = 4 1D8 = [5] = 5 1D8 = [7] = 7 I'll sum this up later and edit this post, I need to leave now.

I feel bad that I haven't come on and paid attention this thread, it seems really interesting. Much like the weapons thread or the news thread most of the time, I just don't find the time to check out everything on here. I like that Tempest is doing a dice thing, thats a cool way to set it appart.

Ok, I've counted it.
Reaching 50 HP will take us 6 spell refreshes if we refresh at the same rate, or 7 if Kyr's heals refresh twice as long as Sah's.
Tempest, how much time will it be?

I'll say it only takes one day if you guys set up a ritual to amplify the effect of the spells. If not, I think it would require 2 sleeps to restore enough spell slots to get up to 50 between you being as Sah gets 4 level 1 spell slots and Kyr gets 2 level 2s which can be used for casting Cure Light Wounds (admittedly Sah's level 2 spell slots could be used for level 1 spells as well). Apart from drawing symbols around the camp site while calling on Hoar/the nature spirit Kyr follows, did you have any ideas for what the ritual could involve?
Hark, I've summerised events of the previous thread in the opening post of each of the new ones if you wanted to just see what had happened IC (admittedly there is a lot of recapping from when it was a 1-player game starring Can's character spread through the 1st IC thread). I'll admit I prefer using systems when DMing stuff like this because I have trouble being objective when doing freeform stuff (not that there aren't huge difficulty discrepencies anyway, but I can kind of blame the dice for that as well as my cluelessness ).

I think its cool that you do it a different way. Its nice to have a genuine alternative rather than just more of the same style of game.
