Well if a pig wants to fuck you, I guess you can't be returned to your original personality.
I'm sort of impressed this movie is worse than I thought.

Honestly, I could get past most of it if it weren't for that ending. It just goes to show how off base everyone was. Well... it also has several other messages that are questionable. I'm sure it was aiming for a "screaming 'fire!' in a crowded theatre" approach, but it wasn't really Chicken Little's fault they messed everything up. And frankly, most of the townsfolk are straight up assholes. And then of course the father. Oh god.

Based on their appearance, my defeault would be to cool those animals. They would have to be extra nice to be allowed to live. The fact they are all compeletely unlikeable just seals the deal

It also gets lobotomized and hooked up with a pig man, who has coveted her body but who she hated. In fact, he even prevents her being unlobotomized. He's one of Chicken Little's friends. We're supposed to like him. What the proverbial fuck? My, how the times have changed. Or are we just overthinking it?

Not overthinking it at all. That's literally what happened.

He is correct, I went back and checked. The fox is a horrible jerk but after getting evaporated and reformed by the aliens a couple of times she dresses up like a southern belle and is all friendly and girlie and sweet. The offers to put her back but the pig tells them not too and then goes and kisses her on the cheek.
So actually its WORSE than I thought. Not only is she turned into the willing partner for the pig, shes converted from a sport playing, proactive champion (and thus a jerk) to a sweet girlie girl (and thus good.)
Frozen this aint.

I think the reason I didn't remember this is because the Fox character is so hiddeous and unlikeable that I was disappointed she wasn't dead as the movie had teased, so the exact nature of her surival didnt' interest me. I was hoping all the animals died, but her in particular.

And not really for the right reasons either.
But she's also a child, for christsakes. You wanted a child to die.
She was a bullying brat, but still!

I wanted them all to die! When the town was getting evaporated at the end I thought "well this was shit, but at least there was a pay off." The fact they lived at the end was a final insult.
She wasnt a child, she was a nightmare abomination! The most hideous of an accursed breed of horrors that infest this movie!

Is it fair you hated her and wanted her to die more for her looks than her horrid personality?

Looks primary. The personality secondary.
To be fair she was just the most extreme version of the whole town. They were ALL hideous and ALL obnoxious. She was the worst, but she had competition.

Well, then you hated her for the wrong reasons. They fucked it up.

Chicken Little was one of those movies where all the trailers looked awful, and after it was released I kept hearing about how bad it was. From reviews I've seen before as well as what I've read here, I'm really glad I took all the warning signs to heart and never went out of my way to watch it. It doesn't even seem like the fun kind of bad, it just seems dreadful.
I still definitely need to see Zootopia though, all I really know is that Shakira's in it, and I always thought her voice was unique and could lend itself well to voice acting. Not sure how prominent she is in the movie, but I do know she gets a song.

Definitely missed nothing worth seeing.
I'm in the same boat with Zootopia.
