I think the decks you will al find most interesting are in the "Power Unleashed" set. The West and Eldex decks have some cool stuff. You guys don't know about Hopeful. That's going to shit everyone up.

Also you will get to see Knarl before they are revealed in the comic. So that will be enlightening.

okay so it's not being sold as one big set but as different decks you must buy separately?

There is a main game, then a few upgrade packs. Power Unleashed- Gives you the west and Eldex and experiences for champions.
There is also the premium upgrade pack that gives you super game pieces, dice and glass counters ot replace the basic card ones from the main game (as well as some special multiplayer cards.)
There are also three additional race packs, each giving you an extra 2 races, making 6 additional races.

Depends?
I think that the original option was only the full thing. But then people talked about maybe needing to lower the price, so it got cut up and changed around.

It will be cheaper if we can pull off a kick starter to buy it in bulk. The good news is, by breaking the game up you can buy just a few parts and not spend as much.
Personally I would vouch for all the extra stuff, but if you want me to rank it in terms of essentialness-
1- The base game. You literally can't play without this obviously.
2- Power Unleashed. This lets you play an advanced version of the game that has better catch up mechanics and a more exciting late game, as well as featuring the most super powerful cards in the whole game which are lots of fun.
3- Race decks. This lets you add more variety to your games as you can swap out sides and play differnet starting champions. These add a lot of longevity to the game by offering new options and combinations. More is better, but if you just have a particular race you like, you can pick the pack you want.
4- Premium upgrade. This one isn't as essential as the others, but it does add a lot to the game. Its got dice to keep score on challenges, cool big red dice for wounds, purple glass beads for reinforcement and loads of awesome plastic coins with stickers to go on them to make them look harko-vasty. Basically it just makes the game a lot more awesome. Yeah these aren't essential and you might have enough dice or counters yourself, but having played the basic game and than the premium version I think they really improve the experience. They make things clearer, more tactile and more fun. The least essential one...but one of my favourites.
One of the elements of game I most pleased about is the rule book and the box. It all looks very snazzy and professional. I think people will be impressed.

If we can make the kick starter work we can get the basic game to around £35. Though thats an early estimate by Red Ned, we will have to see how things go.
