Columbus was a knight? Wouldn't his armour have made him sink on the way to America?

The cape, the sash and the hat prevent sinking.

Sad to think about it like that.

I'm sorry, but the idea of putting up a missed connection on the completely random chance that the person you intend it for might read it is about the saddest thing I can think of.

Yeah. That is a good point.
But still. There is a less terrible way to look at things like this.
For instance, just the fact that they are making a connection with someone, perhaps. A bonding between two humans for perhaps the briefest of moments, but there is something comforting about that.
Of course, it is really all about possibly hooking up, most of the time, which does sort of take a bit of the purity out of it.

Now that one does make sense, although some of those pieces aren't particularly good (still have points and sharp edges).

Those pieces are all crap for sea glass.
Besides, you can make an endless supply of it with a rock tumbler.

That just looks like someone broke a couple of beer bottles.
The guy talking about how he wished he had talked to red head was some combination of sad and creepy. I like the explanation mark on saying it wan't her husband, like he was really hanging onto that belief!

Yes, he's created this little fantasy and he's gonna hang onto it as tight as possible.

There's a guy near me selling a small cabin on less than 1/4 acre of land, with no road access, no electricity, no water (not even a well), and no land nearby that can be legally used for hunting.
He's asking 60K.

Hah, cheap. Very cheap.
Remember, I live in Vancouver. Something like that would go for at least 100k here.
