"That is reassuring. Really nice." The gnoll smiles at the cleric. "But you didn't really answer. Does Hoer wants us to kill Abelone? To dethrone Abelone? To help others kill Abelone? To have a nice, big feast, while people we've warned send armies to defeat Abelone? Different things."

She laughs quietly a bit after being called surly, recognizing it is true.

((Yes I did, as I started writing before he made his post. I fix ))
"He's only ever sent me to bash in skulls, and I don't recall him saying anything more than she needs stopped so I'd assume her death is the goal, or a dark damp dungeon with no escape if you want her to have a more agonizing end. It's all the same to me though, I don't know her enough to hate her to the point I'd want her to go blind and batty after decades in a dungeon rather than getting the job done quickly."

Hellen looks apprehensive when Sah explains her objective and why she follows her god. "Well, we have a better chance of succeeding with casters on our side at least. I think killing her may be the best option considering how lethal she appeared to be when she was invading....."

"Then I suppose it's alright for you to travel with us" the gnoll replies tentatively. "Your help will be nice. But your god is not very trustworthy for me. Know this." The gnoll shakes their head. "It's what we're doing, right? Traveling together. I didn't expect to meet you, but it appears we have the same goals, so we might as well, for safety. So there's no point in keeping this up..."
The gnoll stands up. "Tell me your names. I am Kyrnec. Kyr, they call me." He smiles at the other people, unsure of the proper greeting protocol when dealing with so many foreigners at once.
((Tempest, are you sure it's fine to use words like "casters" in-universe?))

Hesitantly, she responds with "Sahara."

"I'm Fel Mooncaller." "My name is Hellen Smith."
(I don't think it's a problem. It seems like a pretty neutral term for people who cast spells.)

Kyr looks intrigued. "Do you both have your trade as your surname?" he asks Helen and Fel.

Fel: "N-no......I'm not sure wh-where my family's name came from. Well, apart from my f-father, that is......"
Hellen: "Nah, I'm a guard like Bernat. My grandfather was a blacksmith but my dad owns a leatherworking business."

"Oh, so you don't really call to the moon..." Kyr looks a little disappointed.

Fel shakes his head while looking nervous (not that this is any different to how he's looked since his first appearance in this campaign). "I-I'm really not sure h-how you would do that."

"Easy. You raise your head at night and call. The moon doesn't usually answer. But if you would discover how to make it..." The gnoll chuckles.

"Bernat Eisgrau." Bernat says, then retrieves his gear.

"Good then. Now we know each other" Kyr jests. He sits back down by the fire. "So... does anyone actually want some fish? Maybe you, Sahara, you have not eaten."
((It was 7:00 AM when the scene started, can't be much later than that.))
