(The last chapter consisted of the PCs investigating some ruins which may or may not be connected to the recent strange sea creature-sightings, befriending some town guards and Worgs, and meeting some Orcs who had moved in.)
Assuming everyone follows the Orcs, you're lead down into the room where you fought the Dretches. The blood from that battle has been cleared up and an Orc wearing a fancy-looking purple tunic and red trousers is waiting for you with a couple of other warriors. He proceeds to say, in Common, "I assume you 8 are as curious about this place as we are?"

"Very. There have been several disturbing incidents recently regarding the local town. You may have noticed the giant bat that stabled itself in the cave? There is also a rather large crocodile creature. In addition to that, there was a large deep sea octopus in the river. That creates a link between this place and that particular disturbance. I assume you've also seen the dretches we killed in here, yes? Also, the Worgs," Bernat gestures to the pack, "they were here too, but don't seem to have been involved with the dretches and other creatures. Something is going on, and it could be connected to a larger problem that threatens the whole region. Or it may not." Bernat shrugs.

"If the Dretches were the......things which were rotting in here, we did find them. There didn't seem to be anything unusual on the lower floor but there was a large pile of rocks at the end of it which we haven't cleared yet. I have no problems with you looking if you feel it would be beneficial."

"We don't really want any conflicts if we can help it. Most of us don't anyway." The Orcs standing near the stairs which lead down move away. The ones who are guarding 2 other doors which are in this room will stay put.

("Mainly because you guys have already got a small army of NPC guest characters so you don't need anymore." I suppose the rules do allow more henchmen but I'll let you guys hire them yourselves.)
