So what badges have people got their eye on?

Golta and Zadakine, it's only fitting for the weasel pope.

I'd not mind the legendary general one... and I've already got the fan one... but there is one problem. Buying your bloody generalship is exactly what got the Ivos Empire into the pickle it was in before the Nameless War! I can't, in good faith, buy that. I think it should have to be earned.

Oh Jesus Hark, he's going to challenge you to single combat.

Of course not.
How does that demonstrate a mastery of grand strategy?
Duelist maybe... hey, there should be a duelist badge...
Break out the chess sets!

There is no special test for any badges...beyond being awesome enough to earn enough Harko-points! Since Harko points measure your awesomeness, what other more accurate test could possibly exist?

This is true. I think I'll change my signature to reflect my total accumulated Harkopoints

Challenge you to a Rome 2 battle and win? Then again, it isn't as if I've actually been playing Rome 2 recently.
Maybe I'll get it next time I achieve something strategic. Like beat a high level of that AI War: Fleet Command game.
Aside from that, the last strategy game I played was Myth 2.
And I've decided against getting Empire Total War for now. I've other things to focus on, and if I've not played much Rome 2, why would I play much of that?
But I do seriously think there should be a duelist badge.

I will make a duelist badge.
I will take up the challenge to a battle on a total war game. Waaaaaar!
I'm actually really impressed at how many fun things there are on the forum now. There's loads of cool options compared to the old one. Larry says this one is much better supported, so its better put together and less likely to suffer instability and stupid redirect ads.

Huh, I might have to get Empire after all then... well, eventually.
I basically have no access to my windows computer right now. Then again, they've recently bragged about how it works on Linux, apparently?

Here is a free tip to help the new forum and score some bonus Harko-points. You get bonus points automatically for starting new threads. So if you copy something over as a new topic you can get those precious points to purchase snazzy badges to pimp out your profile.

I would, but I have no idea how to implement the stuff I've archived.

Not a problem, you can do simple transfers manually. Just copy the text and paste it into a new section. That's what I just did for a couple of topics.
