Looks like a suicide to me. Nothing to be alarmed about. Nothing at all.
Move along, move along.

I wonder how the government will respond to this? Probably say he committed suicide you're right, even if they don't find a weapon at the scene.
If it was Venezuela you could be certain that Maduro would blame the opposition for murdering one of his critics.

Obviously he shot himself and then got rid of the weapon.

Or his bodyguards got rid of it in order to fuck up lucrative trade deals with Iran and complicate the retaking of the Malvinas via petty, passive-aggressive means.

It's good that they're not firing her. I don't think anyone can blame her for carrying a weapon, being a delivery driver is probably one of the jobs most likely to get you robbed.

Yeah, it can get spooky. Especially for a woman, cuz the guy might get other ideas besides just robbing her.
People don't realize how dangerous the job actually is. You go into neighborhoods at night and sometimes people give you the wrong address. This can lead to problems if you knock on the wrong person's door at 12 am and they're sleeping. Most people won't give you too much shit about that, but you might find yourself staring down the barrel of a gun. Dogs can be a problem too, you never know what they're going to do. Plus drivers tend to be on the road when the traffic is either in a rush to get home from work or drunk as hell.
On top of that you're an inviting target for robbers.

I'm actually a little worried that they don't actually allow the delivery people to carry guns.
...
What? I know I'm Canadian, but...
Okay, guns or pepper spray or something. Because that sounds really dangerous.

They'll say the policy is to protect their customers and their employees, but really it's to protect the company from litigation.
Pepper spray is not a bad option, especially for dogs. Hate to kill a dog just because it's trying to protect its home from a perceived threat. The problem is they haven't really come up with a nice, compact pepper spray that is effective beyond 5 feet.

Why did they choose the anthro version?
Also, it doesn't really look... um... usable.
