I have more escorts to add to this fleet and I need to paint the battleship to fit with them. Close up on the custom cruisers. They are from an old classic harlequin jet bike. This puts a limit on the fleets size since I can't get more of that part, but Harlequins are better as a smaller faction I think. A resin light cruiser from forge world. I like the cool single sail. The harlequinns, like all my eldar, are painted one single dark colour and then dry brushed white. They all have white sails but I am thinking of repainting the harlequin sails to be insane muticolours. Another light cruiser, this one has torpedoes. Escorts! As I mentioned, I have some more to paint to expand this fleet further. The Harlequins are crazy performers who record Eldar history and mythology. As you might guess, they put form before function but they are so strange and unorthodox that they leave their enemies baffled and terrified. They aren't accountable to anyone, and are unpredictable and enigmatic even by eldar standards.

Heh, as I recall, there was a time when these guys were terrifying in the tabletop game.

At one point they were one of very few armies that actually had a proper army list. They got an army list before craft world eldar, which shows how random things used to be. They made models because they felt like it or got an idea, not with much planning or thought to what different armies needed etc.
A more innocent time.
