I think that was a line of military-issue wristwatches.

His shield was on his left side. His right sword arm was coming in from a backstroke he had committed to. I'm pretty sure it would be physically impossible to block an attack at the forearm in that position.
Then again, what is physically impossible for humans isn't necessarily so here.
And yes, I'm also curious about this "Milshok"

IDK much about these Milshoks... But their magics are DEATH and METAL. If any race in Harkovast has a better claim to being the guys to come up with heavy metal music, let them step forward now...

Hedgehogs is my bet.
We'd talked about panthers and wolverines, but the hedgehogs seem likely.
They're not the boat people from The White Kingdom, I'm pretty sure of that.

Hedgehogs... no, that's not metal enough! Even if you give them metal spikes! Is Sonic metal? No he ain't! Unfortunately, almost all metal animals are taken already, I think. Wolves, horses, corvids, eagles, reptiles... I got nothing. By the way, you just have to give their Special Units the name "Slayers"!

I know, but he's not... Metal metal. He is only metal.
For example, Ferrix is Metal metal... since he has metal in his name, right?

Yes... that is true. Ferrix is definitely metal. And not just because metal is in his name. Metal Sonic's name has metal in it.
No, Ferrix is metal because he's a very large shirtless wolf person whose name could almost (but not quite) be linked to Fenris from Norse Mythology. And anything Viking is metal. So... yeah. Ferrix is metal.
I'm reaching and I don't care.

And "ferrum" means iron.

Hark, have you considered, for increased metal, changing their name to "Mülshok"?

I am just not 100% on how to pronounce a U with an accent over it. I am also not sure how to make my keyboard produce such a symbol.
But Slayers I can do.
And I think you will find the Milshok are reasonably metal in every sense.
To quote from one of them- "Our blades hunger for nameless flesh."

I am amused by all this talk of "Metal". I think I should make a metal badge.

I also can't type that letter, I just went to a random page of German Wikipedia and grabbed one from the nearest "für".
