When I first started drawing the comic I really did just that...start drawing. A did a couple of test pictures to see if the characters would look okay (they seemed alright to me!) and then I just started doing it. Design wise it wasn't well planned and some design decisions were made up as I went along.
Now some of these decisions I'm not completely happy with, but fixing them would involve a massive shift in the way things are drawn. So I am going to lay out the rules for how it works when I want to change something (since redrawing massive sections of earlier pages is really not practical if you want to keep getting more comic!)
Character designs are going to stay reasonably consistant within each book (not counting that thing where all the heads change shape part way through Book 1 that no one seems to notice but me) but between books I reserve the right to make changes to the way characters look. It should be assumed that the new version of the character is a more accurate depiction and is the 'correct' one and it should be retroactively assumed that the character always looked the new way.
What sort of thing do I mean might be changed over time? Well as of Book 2, Wizards totally have tails.

Pandas with tails? Huh.
Also, Muir is going to get a better looking hat, right? One more suited to who he is.

Yeeeeah not really sure what I was doing with the helmet. Yes that was one of the main things I wanted to fix. Next time we see him his helmet will be less bullshit.
Why do I get the bad feeling this is going to turn into the "here's what sucks and needs fixing" section?

Nah, I only mentioned the helmet because we talked about it before. And because the Kingsguard helmets in the cardgame look so cool.
Frankly, I don't think I have much call to be demanding changes one way or another, since I don't really know what works for art stuff.

"Learn to draw less shitty" is probably an important one I could be working on!

You've been doing pretty well with that, better than I.

Most of the general "look" of things I am happy with at the minute, but there might be other changes made over time if something strikes me. I cant think of any other major ones right now.

Great, so does that mean that those ridiculous lizard boobs will be rectified?

StyxD you might think they are ridiculously small, but its not that kind of comic! Get your scaly smut somewhere else!
