We've just had International Women's Day, to celebrate, here is my sisters of battle fleet!
It's a little blurry, but this gives you an idea of the size of the fleet.
This symbol is associated with the Sisters of Battle, I ordered some transfers with it from a historical war gaming site.
The Imperial Church, The Ecclesiarchy has vast wealth, so I wanted to make sure their ships were pimped out.
Their escorts have a lot of custom bits and alternate models mixed in to show that the church has spared no expense on its equipment.
The fronts of the ships have been smoothed out, a transfer has been added and a little brass symbol on the front.
The sisters of battle, the churches holy warriors, often have the fleur-de-lis on one cheek, so I added the symbol to one side on the prows.
This grand cruiser is a conversation I got in a random auction years ago. I changed the prow , but other than that the original conversion is pretty intact. Its kinda of two battleships shortened down and fixed together.
Another view on the grand cruiser. I added a lot of gold to the prows to help show the wealth of the church.
The Holy Martyr is a powerful fleet carrier with vast launch bays.
The name is a joke on the fact its owner is an incredibly wealthy bishop who lives in luxury, waited on hand and foot and surrounded by armies of sisters of battle to guard her. Shes so rich she can afford a freaking battleship!
She named it after herself because of all the terrible sacrifices she has made for the Imperium.
SPACE SHRINES!
What better way to spend the oppressed masses resources than building giant shrines to Imperial saints that float in space.
The answer is building the shrines and then strapping engines and cannons to them and sending them into BATTLE!!
The largest Shrine has three fixed together with chains, the others move independently.
Saint Jessica and her holy multi-melta cannon that she used to bring purifying oblivion to unbelievers.
She helped people quit sinning by burning them to fine ash. You can't sin if you are ash!
There are healing and preaching brances of the sisterhood, in addition to the sisters of battle themselves.
Time to bring the holy light of the Emperor to some evil doers!
