Okay here is a new first episode idea-
Widget and Princess Sapphire are in the same pod with the sword and hero guy finds it in a scrap heap.
When he opens the pod a robot attacks (he should be goign to work in a factory, and failure to obey gets you destroyed!) and he tries to fight it.
The princess is a bit wuzzy and can't really make out whats happening.
Widget tells him to use the ultra sword so he whacks the robot over the head but nothing happens and the robot is unharmed.
Eventually he crushes the robot under a big heap of scrap, basically getting lucky to survive
Then the princess comes around and sees that the robot is smashed and says he must be a great warrior so he should come along to help her.
Hes a bit awkward and then goes along.
When their signal fails and she realises they have no support, she will ask if he cna summon any help adn he explains hes just a factory worker and shes like "what? Why did you say you were a warrior?"
And hes "I didn't! You said that!"
And she says "How can you use the ultra sword?"
And he admits he really cant, he's just been carrying it.
Shes annoyed but they need to escape.
(It might be funny if she askes widget why he didn't say anything, and Widget says "I thought he was a warrior too! Look at the size of him! He's enormous!")
Then the bad guys show up with a spaceship and start blasting the communication tower.
All seems lost but then the hero guy manages to harness the sword, and it goes glowy and he swipes it and cuts the whole spaceship in half.
the princess says that he really is a great warrior, he just didn't know it before.
And so he carries the ultra sword because he is, in the view of the princess, a great warrior.
The show will ultimately validate that she is correct.
then the episode ends with the sky martial reporting to dreadlord that the princess has returned and she has th3e Ultra sword nad we see Dreadlord in his full evil glory for the first time, saying "Good. My ultimate victory is finally at hand."
