Can you blame him? Those marigolds look delicious.
When I was growing up the neighbor behind us had a big white rabbit that simply loved to torment our dog. He would sit with his back to the fence and our dog would creep up just like that. Of course the rabbit knew he was perfectly safe but our dog just couldn't resist trying to sneak up on him every time.

Dunno. I guess they're sort of a pest in Australia, and rats don't have scrotums big enough to make coin purses and handles for bottle openers.
