No, I'm pretty sure he started out life as a chick. I mean, look at these masculine facial features.

Stop messing with my mind!
Besides, if he started as a chick, it is fine and is a he now. We're not transphobic.
A good chunk of the Republican base is though, so I can't see a transperson being elected by them.
You know who they should bring back? Herman Cain.

Funny story about Herman Cain.
A friend of mine that I used to work with (who, as it turns out, is transgender) gave a significant amount of money to the 2012 Cain campaign. He was really excited about what Cain was saying and just pretty much fell in love with the guy.
2 weeks later the infidelity allegation story broke and Cain's campaign crumbled like a cheap gingerbread house.
My friend felt betrayed, what's worse, he never got his money back.
The point is, Cain is spineless, and in no way presidential material.

Of course not, I was joking.
Cain was a little... odd.
But who would you like to see run for the Republicans? I mean, to keep it an actual contest. And frankly, some things about Hilary being President are a little frightening. So is there any actual opposition?

Anyway. Convergent evolution. A similar set of environmental factors result in life forms that look similar to each other, but are not in fact the same species and could be hilariously genetically different. Some have speculated that this would be the case for intelligent life from the "Goldilocks Zone" type planets. But we already have an example here on Earth. Kinda. Anime. www.dorkly.com/post/71620/fan-art-spotlight-drachea-rannaks-sailor-moonified-princessesDear god Elsa's legs! Her gut up is about a third of her entire length! Her hips are twice as wide as her torso! Anime eyes generally! They're clearly not human. Not human at all. Also, those skirts freak me out. Too short to cover anything... terrible.

You think Hillary is going to be running for the Democrats next year? Fuck, I'll make sure to buy that AR sooner rather than later.

www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-30930376I don't know where they got the idea that people won't smoke because of plain packages. Personally, I think the only thing that changes when you go to plain packaging on cigarettes is that the clerk at the shop is going to have a hard time reading the brand that's written in fine print.

I think they're operating under the assumption that people will think "Gee, smoking isn't the same now that the packaging doesn't have a highly visible brand name, so I will stop, because this is more of an issue than the pictures of the health problems smoking can cause which have been on the packaging for years". It largely seems to be because they want to appear to be doing something without banning them altogether.

They're doing it for the children though.
Of course, I don't remember anyone selling cigarettes by the package when I was in school, usually just one or two at a time, and I don't think anyone at that age really gives a damn about brand loyalty and what the package the cigarettes originally came in looked like.

My girlfriend has seen firsthand the results of someone who doesn't care for men having to do anything "womanly" like cooking and cleaning. Lets just say that the male children either turn out entitled or... useless. That's oddly fitting, as many people say our bishops are both.

But who would you like to see run for the Republicans? I mean, to keep it an actual contest. And frankly, some things about Hilary being President are a little frightening. So is there any actual opposition? Well, "like to see" and who actually will are two different stories. Let's stick to who might. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. Scott Walker has a history of trading blows with democratic groups and coming out on top. He also took a state that was deep in debt and managed to turn it around to the point that they have a surplus. Mostly by pounding the snot out of the Public Unions. Whatever you think of his tactics, he does get results. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal The son of Indian immigrants, few Republicans can claim to remain as strong on his/her stances as Bobby Jindal. He is unwavering on his commitments, unafraid to make waves, and willing to challenge either party if he disagrees with them. However, he has been keeping a somewhat low profile as of late, making it difficult to say if he is considering a run for the presidency. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul Son of Libertarian Ron Paul, Rand Paul without a doubt has some Libertarian leanings. However, he isn't as xenophobic as his father. He is well liked by both Libertarians and Republicans and unlike Jindal manages to show up in public spotlights quite often giving him name recognition. The likelihood of his running is extremely high. Not sure what's up with the obvious Hair Club for Men weave though.

You think Hillary is going to be running for the Democrats next year? Unless she dies, yes. After what happened to her 08 campaign at the hands of Obama the Democrat party pretty much owes her.

Huh. Interesting. I've got to say that anyone going after unions frightens me in the United States. Those types tend to think that the Gilded Age was the height of American progress and that you blokes have been regressing since. Just from a humanist standpoint though, the Gilded Age scares the crap out of me.

I don't know about Walker, and it's entirely possible that the uneasy feeling I get from Rand Paul is just me confusing him with stuff I vaguely remember about his father, but I'm not keen on Jindal.

The unions have largely become money launderers for the Democrat party. Nothing made that more obvious than the government's "bail out" of GM and Chrysler several years back.
