Hahhah yeah its pretty great sketch. It always reminds of the way on the Justice League you have guys like Superman and Martian Manhunter who can basically invent new powers when ever the writers feel like it (Is anyone exactly certain what Martian Manhunter can and can't do?) working alongside Green Arrow...who has a bow and arrow....and Huntress...who has a really dinky crossbow.... Telepathy, density control, shapshifting (Taking it to a more logical extreme. Instead of just turning into animals, he also stretches his limbs and stuff), super strength, flying. At least those are what I remember from the cartoon. Also a weakness to fire, which is much more common than kryptonite (or at least it SHOULD BE) Also every martian has this. EVERY MARTIAN. At least according to young justice.

I love how random his powers are. Its like they literally gave him every power left over after superman took the obvious ones.

I should read up on it more, cause if his whole race can just do that...then why the fuck hasn't mars conquered the earth?

Martians are clearly peace loving, though their psychic abilities vary in strength. Also, they're racist. At least according to Young Justice which was... actually pretty decent.

That's a good point about Xykon being able to end the Druid easily. Then again, even ignoring protective spells, Druids do have good Fort and Will saves, which most save-or-die spells seem to target, which would probably be something everyone is aware of (and there is still Death Ward, but whether she prepares that on a daily basis is another matter, and there is always a 5% chance of rolling a 1 on saves). I also agree completely about her not having time to prepare and about how a lot of Druid spells probably wouldn't be useful. I know Heal would reduce Xykon to 1d4 HPs under 3.0 rules, so that would have been a great opening (assuming she prepared it, but it does seem as though she didn't realise he's Undead based off the use of Poison, and she would need to do bludgeoning damage with a magic weapon or use a magic attack which Xykon isn't immune to in order to finish him off). One point I forgot until now regarding people not knowing how to combat Liches is that it seems as though knowledge of them is pretty hard to come by in OotSLand based on things like Eugene not even knowing the proper name for a Psylactery (mind you, he had given up on the "avenge Xykon" quest by then so he probably didn't bother to try finding info about Liches) and an apparent lack of other Liches apart from Xykon. If this is the case then she probably wouldn't have been able to make effective preparations even if she suspected Red Cloak could turn Xykon into an undead monstrocity, which as you pointed out, seems pretty implausible.

Young Justice ended very abruptly, with a lot of loose ends. It annoys me that a random BS show like Teen Titans Go can do well but a well thought out show like Young Justice can't.

The original Teen Titans I really liked. A lot. I saw a bit of Teen Titans Go and I felt like someone had stabbed me in the gut.
I did get the sense that Young Justice ended oddly. Season One's ending seemed rushed. Season Two started after a huge jump in years that kind of shocked me.

This was my thoughts towards Go. The show is a fucking poor excuse of a kids show. I mean what kind of lessons are they teaching? Be a paranoid dick and mess with other peoples business and you'll be proven in the right at the end (Robin...fuck this interpretation of the character). Be a lazy slob and you'll be just find (Cyborg and Beastboy). Starfire rarely gets much focus as a main character in an episode (it feels like that to me), so apparently girls aren't important? The only character I can stand is Raven, in fact I pity her character for what she keeps having to deal with. Season Two's year jump was painful, mainly because we were showcased a lot of character growth and development to our main cast, some of which was very important (Like Superboy and Superman's bonding. There god damn father-son/clone bonding. Robin becoming Nightwing. Kid Flash and Artemis retiring. Aqualad losing the love of his life and going evil (undercover), Superboy and Me'gann breaking up!) and it didn't delve too deeply into how the new characters were introduced. Like Blue Beetle. That being said I enjoyed Blue Beetles character, he pretty much became my favorite of that season since Conner didn't get much screen time or development. I still say the writing was pretty damn good, but the time skip felt annoying and we are not gonna get a season three because they probably couldn't sell enough merchandise. That's the problem with cartoons. If they keep selling their merchandise, keep making profits for their company, then they will keep going. That's why there are so few kids cartoons that have over arching stories (The only ones I can think of is Adventure Time (Which looks kiddy and has enough boundless energy to entertain kids, but has a lot of deep stuff that goes over their heads and impacts the parents/teens who choose to watch it, and Steven Universe where the story feels more background to me. It has a sense of canon though). We get shows with plot per episode and no real sense of canon, and any that do showcase it much later (Like how in Gumball, his crush has appeared in her true shape shifting form ever since she showcased herself). I get how kids are probably not gonna want to get lost in a story, but at least try and teach good lessons in those plot per episode sketches. And stop using Teen Titans Go...it's too much of a moral failure in my mind to every teach anything good.

I liked both Teen Titans and Young Justice. I know there were some Teen Titan fanboys that just hated the show because it didn't follow the comics close enough, but I never read that shit.
I think networks would rather make a Teen Titans Go type of show because the animation is cheaper, the writing is cheaper, and they can just slap this crap up on the screen. But you can make random low budget animation that is fun. Regular Show, Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, and Stephen Universe are all decent shows that appeal to kids and adults.
Also I think TTG is just a place holder so Cartoon Network doesn't lose their DC license, but they show it so much it's annoying. It's on every time I turn on the damn channel.

Forgot about regular show.
And I know what you mean. It's broadcasted so much throughout the day. I hope they have something better in the works to keep their dc license, cause Go feels like they shouldn't have it.

I think Regular Show and Stephen Universe probably won't get another season. CN isn't marketing either one of them very much anymore. Even Adventure Time seems to be on it's way out the door. Gumball is safe for the time being. The amount of airtime Go is getting is really disheartening.
I hope Uncle Grandpa gets the axe too cuz that show sucks.
Another show that got pulled abruptly was Green Lantern: The Animated Series. It was slow to appeal to me but by the time the season ended I was getting into the characters and I really wanted to know what happened next. Then CN just dropped it because the movie had done so awful.

I hope you're wrong about Steven universe, I'm just starting to really enjoy the overall story. I hope regular show stays, but if it goes I wouldn't be surprised since it felt like a lot of stuff in it went over kids.
If they get rid of Adventure Time soon then they're just digging their grave deeper. They dug up a bit when they brought toonami back for Saturday nights, but they can always fall back in.

So I tried my hand at making a magical item (mainly in response to something crazy another player got.) and my DM said that I'm free to as long as I run by stuff for her (she wants to try and set a quest for some legendary item, but can't think of what).
Here is the first draft, which is going to probably receive some edits after my DM sees it.
"Hammer of The Molten Skies Base Weapon: Warhammer-1d8 bludgeoning damage.
Minor properties: -Temperate: The bearer suffers no harm in temperatures as low as -20 F or as warm as 120 F -Unbreakable: The item cannot be broken.
Requires Attunement: When attuning this item, fiery chains sprout from the base of the hilt and wrap around the forearm of the arm you use to fight. During the hour of attunement the character takes: 1d6 fire damage every ten minutes 1d4 fire damage every ten minutes 1 point of fire damage every minute of the hour or 1 point of fire damage ever two minutes of the hour When finished the chains disappear, though their mark is burned into your skin. These were ideas of how much damage this item should do and still make it possible for the character to live through it. I want to make it along the lines of “The weapon is testing you” or something along those lines. This damage also bypasses fire resistance.
While Attuned: The weapon is bound to you by soul, with just a thought it may return to you. +3 to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon (Or +4 if we wanna go nuts) and it deals an extra 3d6 fire damage on hit. Thrown property: Normal range 20, max range 60 feet (Using Dwarven Thrower stats. Might increase distance) As an action you can throw the weapon, when thrown the burning hot chain returns and connects the weapon to your arm, you take no fire damage despite the heat it releases. Any creatures hit by the hammer take an extra 1d8 bludgeoning damage and 2d6 fire damage (or more. Still calculating). The hammer stays in place where it lands, whether it hit or not, until called back. You can call back the hammer as a bonus action. Any creature in the hammers path on return takes 1d8-2 bludgeoning damage with no modifiers, and 1d6 fire damage. The chain deals 1d6 fire damage to anything that comes into contact with it, and cannot be broken. Its return cannot be stopped. The weapon takes the form of a small meteor when thrown. You gain fire resistance. You gain proficiency with smiths tools.
Curse: Once a week if you are near are forge and take a long rest, you stop whatever resting you are doing and set to work at the forge as if in a trance. You spend your entire long rest at the forge, creating a random magic armor or weapon from magic item lists F, G, H, and I, roll 1d4 to determine which table. Items crafted this way have the following curse in addition to their other abilities- (Not sure on a proper name for this curse): The power of this item is temporary, losing all magical properties and becoming mundane (it wouldn't even keep a +1). The amount of time the item is magical depends on what item list it was forged from. F- two weeks G- one week H- three days I- 24 hours. You do not gain the benefits of the long rest after this and suffer one level of exhaustion."
