This is the description for Mek:
And Shanis was done to be deliberately opposite.
Also, I'm saying it, but StyxD predicted Frozen. Disney people read Harkovast, clearly.
Also, Garix had chainmail as well as being old and with two axes.

No problem.
I'm still hung up on the idea of Mek and Shanis singing "Do you want to build a snowman?"

Its a shame we can't get Tiberia back again. I liked her character!

She does drop in from time to time. But hoping to get her back to the RP seems like it would be unlikely indeed.

Pity... If you see her on steam you can tell her there will be a card of her character though. Everyone likes getting a card!

I'll tell her you all miss her and wish she'd come back and do more forum things.
I'll tell her the card thing too, obviously.

How was magic different in earlier versions of the Harkovast world?

They had wizards as a job rather than a race, with DnD style "spell casting as a job". It then got changed to being more that everyone could get special magic powers, with wizards removed. Then wizards got added back in as a race in their own right.

I like that everyone can use magic to some extent.

Yeah I think its more fun when everyone can get super powers. In the DnD model you run into a problem where one guy gets really good at swinging a sword and the other guy can change reality to his will whenever he wants. After a while, one of those powers starts to out strip the other.
Also the nerdy wizards with books and stuff always seemed kinda lame. Its like the village has a black smith, a grocer and then a wizard. Magic becomes just a normal thing. Everyone knows how it works and who can do what. You end up with the warrior suggesting spells to the wizard or berating him for not doing his magic right.
No one should ever says "Oh, don't worry, its probably just a wizard."
I wanted to make wizards seem scary and powerful, like they do in fantasy stories. People don't want to cross the wizards due to the terrible powers and secret knowledge they possess.
A friend of mine came up with the idea that wizards are kinda made of opposites. They are really wise and have deep understanding, but they can also be savage and ferocious (like breaking your neck with their teeth.) I like the idea that they are dangerous allies and dealing with them is risky, even when they are on your side. Wizards are kind of a higher authority, and you can't tell them what to do.

I see thanks. How long did it take for the 14 elements to be chosen and divided up?

I think originally there were 13 elements. I think the missing one was technology. I made it 14 so each had an opposite. It was during the second version that the idea of races having two elements came into it.
