well I know the hulk jumps really far and superman was the same way but I'd say "hopping" much like a rabbit or kangaroo is different then just straight jumping really far

alrighty
well one thing iv'e been working on is a scene where Tech takes the time to actually talk to the abused girl that lives across him, I'm calling it "The Choice" and it's something planned to happen after Tech has had a rather bad reunion with his mother.
When it comes to him meeting his mom again for the first time since he was a child it's not exactly the best thing that happens. With Tech now successfully out of prison he decides to celebrate by taking his friend and himself on a trip to Veges. they gamble, Tech fucks with some of the electric games so that he wins, it's a good time. Then Tech sees his mom and well "she's a women of the night". i
i know this isn't the most original making his mom turn out to be a prostitute but she was a person who decided "fuck this family i'm young and can't handle this shit" and then fucked off out of their lives so it seems fair to me.
now though on meeting she does want to make it up to him and Tech is flashing money (yeah it's manly for the money). he takes he out, tries to reconnect with this women he hardly knows because "hey it's my mom" and family is about one of the few things in the story Tech really cares about so it helps develop that part of him.
things are kinda going well till he gets back to her place. he's obviously not living in the best conditions and he wants to help her. but she's not to into wanting to be helped. she's fucked up, she's on some drugs and Tech is slowly seeing what a lost cause his mom may actually be. Later her pimp shows up not to happy she's not earning and Tech isn't to happy to see his mom hit because this guy is getting violent so Tech breaks this guys arm and knocks him out.
his mom starts freaking though and Tech finally gets that reconnecting with this person isn't worth it, she's not someone he needs in his life. this all ends with Tech giving her some cash and telling her she can go anywhere on it and try to start over but that its's the only thing she's getting from him, he's done with her and is more or less paying her simply because she gave him life.
it all ends rather depressing.

Then it comes to him being back home, it's late and the lady that lives across from him is out of her apartment on the floor just sitting there. instead of ignoring her like usual Tech takes the time to talk to her, asking why she sticks around and lets her man do what he does. she lets him know she just doesn't have any choices, a lot of things in her life got picked for her and now she's stuck in this situation with no way out. Tech is really hating this woman and her unwillingness to help herself and take the risk of just leaving, all she's giving him is excuses. Tech finally is like "Fine, i'll help you finally have a choice in how your life continues" he goes into his place, grabs a gun, loads in with one bullet and takes it back to her.
its gonna kinda go like this "here don't say anything just take it. now i'm going to tell you your choices and you aren't going to speak and you are not going to tell me which one you'll choose. Choice one, when i go back into my place you slip the gun back through my mail slot and thus choose to keep living the way you are. Choice two, you end it all, you quit because a life where you have no say is pathetic. Choice three, you go in their and make a change to your life for the better my door will be unlocked and you come back to me when done, a pillow makes a good silencer.
With that he leaves her.

I've also been working on Screech as a character. He's a villain sure but hes actually a rather popular and liked one and this helps make for good TV. some of his popularity comes from him never actually killing anyone yet and well as him being entertaining to watch.
He's a technology based villain, having himself a suit as well as toys that all function around sound as a weapon and thanks to a run in with Creeper he has a device that helps him talk as well as let out a powerful sonic screech.
his run in with Creeper was of his own choice. while he was holding up a store a TV shows the news and it's talking about how Creeper is on a rampage in a mall not to far from him. sure he's a villain and all but he just can't not try and help, after all Creeper is a horrible person and does horrible things to everyone so he chooses to take action without a second thought.

That's neat. I imagine most of the places he robs are insured?

He tries, most places would be anyway just because of the world itself. you never know if a hero or villain will come crashing through your door, so better safe then sorry right?
Now also though rather powerful he's not exactly "take in Creeper" powerful so he does eventually get help from a character i'm calling The Elemental. She's kinda like Humantorch and Iceman together but can only be one at a time. seeing as she's kinda weak to herself tough normally if she goes in one or the other she stays that way as to avoid hurting herself.

Wow been a while since I’ve been on this forum. Even longer since I post something so I figured what the hell? Sure only Can has given feed back but it’s nice to see how others interpret my ideas. So here comes some more from my world.
I’ve moved a bit away from the Tech story, creative thoughts on him as a character and his issues have become strained as of the last few months so I’ve started working on stories for two others set within my hero world. One of which is Little Boy which I’ve said a few things about but haven’t given to many details on but also on a whole new character that came to me one day while walking to work. I’m calling her Riot and so far her story is focusing less on her acts as a hero but more how her being a hero affects her family and how her personal world views don’t sit well with other middle class family sensibilities.

So Riot is one of the government funded hero’s and the job has allowed her to provide for her family a simple sub-urban life. Riot doesn’t have any powers, it’s all skill and weapons with her, perticular with her it’s riot hear. Beanbag shotguns, flashbangs, rubber bullets, stun batons as well as other tazers and the likes are things she keeps on her arsenal, not to say she’s not afraid to switch to live rounds if nesasary. I’m viewing her as kind of a mix of Batman and Punisher in how she operates.
The identity of Riot was actually passed down to her by her father who had been killed in the line of hero duty. He is a man she greatly respects and still looks up to.
In the public eye Riot is still thought to be male due to the body armor and a voice changer not giving any clear signs that Riot could be anything but a man and this is something she plays up to in interviews and the likes. She’s not about to correct anyone on the matter of her identity. I totally stole this from Metrod but I like the idea so I’m taking it.

Riot employs a simple philosophy that if you hurt those that hurt others they will stop. A view that her husband isn’t a huge fan of because it’s affecting their kids behavior at school. She doesn’t leave violence outside when she takes the suit off, she’s bringing it into the home and spreading it to her kids which she thinks is a good thing. She believes everyone should be willing to stand up and fight regardless of consequences because their should be a consequence to helping others. She finds it absurd that her son is punished at school for beating up bullies. He’s doing what the teachers can’t or won’t do. “If the teachers and security were doing their job at keeping the school a safe place where it’s students can learn and not be the victims of violence then my son wouldn’t need to inact justice on some prick of a kid who thinks it’s fun to hurt others” that’s her take on it and obviously not a favored one.

Interesting.
From an educational standpoint, her philosophy is definitely problematic. But that is rather interesting. So her kids know she is Riot?

Yes two of her kids are aware, the youngest is two young to really be trusted with the family secret or really connect the dots between moms special room and Riot. she’s actually training her son that’s getting into fights at school with bullies, this is actually something the husband promotes but is less and less happy about the outcome of said training.
The relationship between riot and her husband is complex and I’m not afraid to admit I’m having difficulties writing it in a way that seems natural. When they first met it was great. When you’re young and in love things can be exciting, but she also wasn’t Riot when they first got together and had their first child. He worries, he doesn’t want to lose her and there is a stress that comes with knowing one day she might end up like her father.
