Well, what are her traits? Use her personality to find a name that fits with it.

Shes meant to be the kind, peaceful one, who wants to avoid conflicts. She's caring and nuturing. She's also refined and sophisticated. She's very educated and cultured.

Hmmm... judging by her traits I'm trying to understand her motivations in the story. Is she just being dragged along by the other characters or is she actively trying to overthrow the bad guy? From what I can tell she has the most to gain or lose in this situation. Is this just how she starts out and she becomes something else?

Shes not being dragged along, she wants to help stop Dreadlord. She has missed the last five years so when she was last around everything was fine and people were happy etc. the Omnispheres were awesome, but now she is revived to see that the bad guys have screwed everything up. So she knows about stuff but not about anything that's happened recently, so her idea of what places will be like is usualy far nicer than it will actually be. She actively wants to find a way to defeat Dreadlord and free her family.
Shes positive because she comes from a positive time. So she wants to see the best in poeple and resolve things peacefully because that's how things were. But in the five years since, everything is falling apart and corrupt, so she might be naive about how things are now.

Are the escape pods cryo chambers?
Cuz I'm thinking everyone is stuck in their respective escape pods for five years and they should be fuckin' crazy.

Oh yeah they are in stasis in those things. Sorry if i didn't make that clear. You get frozen in the pod till someone opens it and lets you out.

Wait...If I dont call him Flint... I could still call her Sapphire.
Then I could have a funny bit where Rock says "Princess has pretty name." and she goes "How sweet." and hes syas "named after a rock."

Minervette? IDK, What would you name the King and Queen? Albion and Alcatra? ...I feel like I should apologize for naming the Queen after Alcatraz.

What if...
Instead of her being in stasis for 5 years, she's actually in there for 100 years? The world is so different that she doesn't even recognize it. Dreadlord is still alive but he's like super old and being kept alive by technology. 100 years of poor management means that so many resources have run out that it's difficult to power anything. Then this Ultra Sword (need a better name) shows up and it's a potentially unlimited power source.

True, unless you changed her backstory. Maybe she worked for Dreadlord and turns good, possibly when recognizing Sapphire Starshine's true claim to the throne or something. Or maybe the princess simply wins her over due to her optimistic outlook in a world where nobody has anything to be optimistic about.
I'm sorry, am I rewriting your story?
