Ooops, if it isn't the consequences of their actions...

Well, logistics are one of the most important parts of warfare, so the Zadakine might be a lot more dangerous than some think.
And both sides have Ivos mercenaries, eh? That's going to be funny. And perhaps, being mercenaries, some are more trustworthy than others? Eh? Coin, right?
Anyway, I think Shogun is spelt Shogon at some point early on. So maybe after this, he'll be Sho-gone!

Yeah, and it's fine, we all do something like that sometimes. He's back to just being Shogun now... but maybe that mean's he'll get Sho-gunned down soon!

I'm somewhat disappointed that Ki isn't going out and assassinating the Zadakine engineers.

Bird people are notoriously bad at building walls.
I've given this consideration in my own writing, actually. Would their big cities even have walls if they weren't worried about attack? Especially if they were worried about attack from their own people? They can fly. If they're worried about contraband being brought in, they'd have watch towers around the city, maybe. The capital of my winged folks has walls... facing inside at the haunted remnants of the old capital. Otherwise, why bother?
Now that isn't a criticism here. Nymus (mostly) can't properly fly, but even so they probably don't find walls too much of an obstacle. They are, however, surrounded by people who can't manage walls quite so well, and so it makes sense. It also makes some sense that those walls wouldn't necessarily be the best if the Nymus themselves built them. They're Nymus, not Ivos. Now if some oversized grappling hooks could take down proper Ivos walls so easily, I'd be a little worried.
I suppose it is also possible that they hired Ivos to build up the walls in the first place, but then... also doesn't mean the Ivos would put in their best efforts for foreign walls in the first place.
As soon as the Bralks started pulling, I figured what was up (or thought it might be). I think it's a cool approach to a siege.

Fortunately, the Nymus don't have to fight other Nymus. Walls keep those Zadakine out!

Seems kind of ironic that metal fists are more effective on the chains than dark magic. I'm guessing Shogun's fist has a lot of enchantments so it's significantly stronger than the chains are?

Yeah, but lets face it, Tsung-Dao have that weird life magic, eh? Hit real hard. Martial arts stuff.

Got some Jacksonian Legolas taking out giant CGI elephants from that. Nice. Ki's pretty clever.
But alas, cannons are cannons and walls... well. I mean. Cannons. Walls. Cannons win.

And I'm guessing Nymus walls are less advanced than the ones which real-life 1700s cannons would have been used on.

Yeah, it feels like the Golta would have a field day or several conquering the mostly medieval Vellastorm. Unless the Ivos make equally magical walls.
Ki: "Look, old man, I can Naruto-run better than you!" Shogun: "Bring me my orange kimono!"
I'm somewhat surprised that Ki didn't just swoop down along the chain to prove his avian superiority, but other than that it's a neat action scene!
