I looked it up, and apparently he wasn't very involved with the Holiday Special, but since he was still keen to cash in on made for television films to expand the Star Wars universe between the main films he went ahead with these Ewok films, and had a more active creative role with them.

Also, Lucas is a sell out.

Also, Lucas is a sell out. True. So did anyone else watch this or just me? Cuz, y'know, I watched it twice. Cuz that's what I do for all the movies put up so I can give it a fair chance to win me over.

So you didn't even make it to the "story" part?

I could barely watch it, it was kind of painful.
Did I ever mention that I don't like children? Especially children in movies? Or Ewoks.

I could barely watch it, it was kind of painful. Says the guy reading a furry novel.

I haven't looked at that in a few days.
Believe it or not, but I actually have an easier time with with shite novels than I do with shite films. I guess it's because a novel is all make-believe, the only person whose dignity gets wrecked is the person who wrote it, but with an awful film I'm watching real people perform in it and looking like idiots for being involved.

Yeah, I get the same kind of feeling, I think, Renard.

I stopped feeling bad for them and stared enjoying their suffering.
I mean, really, everyone in this movie thought it was going to be their big break. What it turned out to be was a forgettable pile of shit.

And that's the problem; they went in with so much hope and expectations. An awful book, especially a vanity-published one like Org's Odyssey, can only really hurt the author.

An awful book, especially a vanity-published one like Org's Odyssey, can only really hurt the author. As it should. But that's not enough to make me feel bad for the likes of Jake Lloyd and whoever the hell these people are in Ewok. At least Warwick Davis had a pretty good career after this.

I didn't watch it either (based on your review, I don't think I want to).

Jeeze! That's not the point.
You guys are supposed to at least attempt to watch it so I'm not all alone here. If you don't watch it than it's like any other movie review thread.

No love for Ewoks.
So let's try another movie. Staying in the realm of children's movies, let's try an animated flick from Europe.
The Princess and the Goblin
