Well... that covers pretty much all of them. My list is here: harkovast.freeforums.net/thread/65/chart-magic-harkovast-raceIt includes some theorizing too. To sum up, those that are unknown: Wah-Daq - (Cannibalistic River Worshippers, often lie in wait in their rivers, Platypus?) -Jaydia Vort - (Maybe gorilla? Nameless giants?) Knarl - Probably bug-ish. - Jaydia Lel - Could be rats... or Gorillas, I suppose. - Location unknown. The Moon? Vetalids - Previously where the Knarl are, remnants of their Empire caused a problem for Tolpish Inquisitors - They're snake-like. Some work for the Skyman at the least, maybe The West in general. I should note: I am no longer certain that the Lel started out on Xalkara. It would make sense if the "exodus" they underwent as to somewhere else on the planet, but... There is something awfully suspicious about that moon, and unless Hark is going all Anne McCaffrey on us... the only race I could see developing space travel is the Lel. Though the Anne McCaffrey theory would make sense for the Rain of Demons.

Dol Sum also appear to be raccoons.

Sorry about that (I'm not sure why I thought they were called Dol Sums).

No that's okay Tempest. There are, after all, far too many races.

I believe its Hot Shots Part Deux where the hero is described as being a Dim Sum master.

So the Ivos actually use magic to construct their buildings? How is that?

Yeah their priests use magic to shape things out of stone, allowing them to build structures really quickly. They still needs labourers (for exmaple slaves) to move stones around, put bits together etc, but the priests take a massive chunk out of all building time. More powerful Ivos magic uses might be able to do this thing on a bigger scale without help or summon stuff in a fight (like pulling up walls or making openings in walls to get through), but those would be rarer powers for super powered bad asses.

Okay.
I could see their priests being able to turn loose collections of stone into solid pieces, either turning them into blocks for construction, or turning stacked stone walls into single, solid constructions

Suddenly, I find myself curious: Has any race in Harkovast figured out how to make lighter-than air vechicles? (hot air ballons, blimps, etc, etc.)

I swear that came up a few years ago, either an offhand remark you made or something someone asked.
