I figured there was no sense in importing the old thread from the old forum, so here's a shiny, uncluttered new thread.
I start off; how long were the Golta slaves of the Tolpish, and were there any other races besides Zadakine/Golta who wound up enslaved by the rabbits?

I just added it in to the timeline as -82 Lel Reckoning.
So they had them enslaved for over 100 years.
The Tolpish kept other slaves, but did not have an entire people under their rule other than the Golta.
Around that time, the Nymus would also have been practicing slavery, though they later stopped the practice while the Tahmus continued with it. Darsai also had some slavery back then, but on a much smaller scale then most large nations. They ended it sooner since their economy was less reliant on it.
I think its interesting that slavery was more wide spread at the time, as I think it gives a sense of that being a different age in Vellastrom.

Now I see why you refused my suggestion of a suss breed that looks kind of like a kiwi bird, the Nymus priests of Bol look like that.

It's like you are a celebrity. A very very very minor one.

In the OOC section for the RP, I saw a comment about Veths being the first thing to go once better technology is developed. What are the technological limits of each race? I'm curious because I know a lot of things (eg: pyronite) are linked to racial magic, which suggests that a lot of races would end up really behind other races (eg: Ano-Chee and Onrapas don't seem to have any magic which would help them invent things but the Gotetra seem to have the potential to create electronic devices based on their Thunder/Technology combination).

That's a bit too complicated to answer very well. I am not an expert on historical technology levels, but that kind of thing is a little vague. Also there are so many nations and so many forms of technology that it would take a long time to explain it all.
You can kind of place some nations as more advanced then others (Vellastrom is generally more backward than Jaydia for example) but its not going to get super specific.
When I talked about them getting more advance I meant when they have proper guns and can easily shoot animals they dont like and exterminate them.

Eventually someone will figure out how to make gunpowder without using pyronite, they might even figure out how to make smokeless powder.

Okay thanks. So this means the Goltas won't be getting to the Moon using a pyronite-powered rocket?

Eh, the Lel already did that...
Well, it isn't confirmed, but I have my pet Harko-conspiracy theories. Harkospiracies, if you will. There isn't much evidence for it, and it is probably insane to postulate, but...

So, this is some of the stuff the auto-correct on my mobile suggests for me when I'm sending a text, thanks to me posting to the forum;
-Musushdu, Junlock, Golta, Gotetra, Ano, Chee, Eudocia, Ayzebel, Rin, Anzlov, grobla, Zado, etc.
I'm not sure what to make of this.

Be really careful that you don't send a text to your mom complaining about the damn Zadakine. That's all I can say. Though your mum would probably be less judgmental than some.
