Still not going to tell us any more about their otter comrades?

Well the Gyo do like to have their secrets.

As long as there's a possibility to play a Gyo character at some point, I'm happy. I think they're a pretty neat race, and that's not just because they're otters.

Everyone loves mysterious, that's what I've learned!

I liked them even before I knew there was something secret about them.

Maybe the Chang just seem unpopular because everyone loves Gyo.
So come on then, what does everyone like about these guys?

The Chang or the Gyo?

The best thing I can come up with for the Chang is Bomb Rock Gauntlets. imagine punching with frag grenades, only they don't horribly explode your hands/you...Somehow. I feel like the trouble is... These guys basically have the Ivos thing of 'no battle magics' but UNLIKE the Ivos who got to be ROME with all the inherient awesomeness that brings, the Chang are like... OCD construction guys, as their power. And Magic Kung-fu I associate more with the Tsung-Dao, having seen them in action... Hrrm. Actually, that part helps. How does Tsung-Dao-fu work as opposed to Chang-fu?

Sorry, the Gyo.
Why does everyone love the Gyo? I know I like them, I just didn't think I had said that much about them so I am surprised they are so well loved.

For one, they're otters.
I like their attitude; Lord knows I'm so high-strung and vindictive that I'd never fit into their society, but I guess that's part of why I like them, somehow.

For some reason I thought the Yulbax or Wu-Yao would be more popular.
Shows what I know!

The Wu-Yao strike me as people who would be stubborn for the sake of being stubborn, Yulbax (they're the bears, right?) are loud, and I don't like loud people.
Gyo seem (to me at least, going on what I know of them so far) like they'd just be generally pleasant people. I couldn't get over knowing that they were talking behind my back though.

Wu-Yao aren't stubborn so much as they have a philosophy of personal responsibility and view all attempts to force authority on people as illegitimate. They aren't doing it to be dicks. They think other people trying to tell them what to do is an example of other people being dicks. If you are want a good time, the Wu-Yao are a lot of fun. They believe in enjoying life to the fullest and if it feels good do it. You aren't the boss of them, but they would never try to be the boss of you.
The Yul Bax are stubborn for the sake of being stubborn. And loud. But come on...kung-fu lava bears!

Yulbax are definitely not my favourite people, I've worked with guys who've been stubborn because they felt like it, and I felt like leaving them on the side of the motorway.
Wu-Yao... I'm just not keen on them.

Of course. The Manchus were afraid of the same thing after they conquered China, figuring that it was a bad call to become too civilized.
