BTW, Star Trek Discovery is getting sued. Turns out they actually stole the entire concept of the Tardigrade spore travel from a video game. Not to mention several of the characters.

Yeah I heard about that. The show is even more creatively bankrupt than we realised!

God! Why does everything suck so bad now?
Maybe the only reason I like this movie is I forgot what lack of suck is like. If you want a good sci-fi movie now you have to completely shut your mind off and just drool out love for some dreck.
So I'm going to just love Genisys and fuck what everyone else thinks.
I totally get how people love The Last Jedi now. I don't agree, but I get it.

I remember thinking with discovery that space travel via giant parasite and space fungus didn't fit with star wars, so learning they just copied it from something else is not as surprising as you would think.
Okay here is a theory- The Robocop remake is worse than Genisys or Last Jedi. The godo elicit discussion or some kind of reaction.
Robocop made me feel bad and I can barely even remember why. It was depressing and forgettable. I can't make a snark review because I wouldn't have enough interesting things to say because nothing of any interest happens.
And Blues Brothers 2000 is worse than any of them because I can't watch enough of it to do a snark review because it makes me want to slit my wrists.

Yeah, the Robocop remake completely missed the point of Robocop. It's like someone remaking Schindler's List as a comedy and in technicolor.
At least the Robocop remake was nearly as forgettable as the Total Recall remake.
