I watched that animated film. It had dark moments, but it didn't stay dark. Rather the darkness was transitioning towards the light. Superman, for all his faults, is still someone who cares about saving people. What I find that interesting is that he's genetically (son of Zod) and raised (by Mexican immigrants) different than the one we know.
Then I like how that trailer ends. He doesn't roar or rage, he takes a deep breath and sighs in regret. He couldn't save that kid, what he did was the best he could do.
And he asked. He only had five minutes began a nuke and he tried to ask if the kid could control it. And he waited for the kid's permission before lasers.
The batman of that movie I didn't like, mainly for the voice actor. Dexter (the guy from Dexter) didn't put much feeling in scenes that warranted it.
Wonder Woman...her backstory has something I should analyze. But it's kinda like Game of thrones. If the high father killed darksied on their children's wedding day.

That's an interesting take on Superman. An alternate version like Red Son, only less dramatic.

what superman cartoon movie is this? I think I want to see it.
also Red Son and Speeding Bullet are two of the 3 superman comics I actually own and they are good What If stories. Red Son is a Russian Superman while in Speeding Bullet, Klark lands in the Wayne's back yard so they never have Bruce and then Klark becomes Batman after his parents are killed but he's a violent killer himself.

Justice League:Gods and Monsters. Superman is the only character I really liked out of the heroes. Batman...it's not Bruce so being a vampire doesn't bother me. It's when the voice actor doesn't give much emotion when I think he should.

Hmmm...
I kinda like that they're taking the hate for the first movie and making it a thing in this one, but Doomsday looks like shit.

They're probably going to bring in Doomsday in the end. Good call.

So... possibly a case of "yup, we're spoiling most of the things in the trailers now."
I do hope they give Wonder Woman a bit more attention than that, because if she just shows up it won't end well at all.
In fact, I just don't know what to think of this. Actually... I know. "At least they gave Wonder Woman a sword." Because swords are cool. Cool enough for me to see this movie in theaters? I dunno about that.
Then again, we all know what Hark and I thought the Avengers was going to be like.

I fell off this train very close to when it started and seeing this new trailer doesn't make me want to catch up to it. I still may go see it though just to give myself a real reason to dislike it

May as well keep all the DC related movie stuff here.
So, what are we getting this time? Dark. Of course. I hope they let you play with the gamma setting on the fuckin movie. The CGI for Cyborg looks like shit. You'd think they'd fix it but you know they won't. Looks like there's more of an effort at levity, which may work or may backfire on them.
Big bad is gonna be Darkseid. Looks like they're doing the inverse of the Marvel universe where they spent over ten years building toward Thanos, DC is coming right out of the gate with their uber warlord. With Superman dead that's gonna fuck them. Maybe they'll raise him from the dead at some point in the movie.

Keep the DC shit where it belongs.
I'm very torn on this. On one hand, a backstory of the Joker is completely missing the point of the Joker. On the other hand, Joaquin Phoenix is fuckin' amazing in most everything he does.

Affleck popping up as Batman in this one would be so out of place.
