It's not likely to happen, but it's a damned frightening thought. I could see him being in favour of letting the Russians have their sphere of influence provided the Russians let the US steal some Middle Eastern oil.
Of course theft would imply that Muslims are people, which they apparently aren't.

I am going to make a prediction! Hillary will win! No fence sitting here.
I don't think it wil be landslide but it will be a comfortable win.
That's my call.

I think it's going to be relatively close, within a few percent.

Girlfriend's stepfather bet me ten bucks Trump would win. Some people seem to think that is likely. I don't, but then again, I didn't think the Brits would actually vote Brexit, and you've got a lot of the same motivation for Brexit as for Trump.

Okay I don't want to worry folk....but... Polling is based largely on people that are considered "likely to vote" based on demographics. For them to be wrong and Trump to win, the most obvious way would be if he motivates people who dont normally vote to vote for him, thus upsetting the models.
Currently, I am hearing there is record turn out.
Should be interesting.

Personally, I still think its just people getting worked up and it won't come to anything.
Canuovea if its your girl friends step dad, was it American dollars, not Canadian? I just want to understand how much of a high roller you are.

I am going to make a prediction! Hillary will win! No fence sitting here. I don't think it wil be landslide but it will be a comfortable win. That's my call. See, when there was election in Poland last year, everyone was sure rightists won't win because the alternative was too scary to admit. It did win us a fairly good mood on the election day.

Early poles seem too close to call. It's all jolly exciting, isn't it?
I stand by my prediction! Tommorrow we will see if I'm a complete idiot or not (though some claim the jury made a judgement on that one.)

I hold that Hillary is going to win just like the poles say she would and its all just hyping up excitment by the media to get ratings. Every American election I have ever see has been treated as an incredibly close, tight, cant be called race and then most of them turned out exact as was predicted. I'm sticking by it! I won't be swayed! Not till I see the results. I'm with her! Urgh, sorry, I just threw up a bit in my mouth. I'm predicting she will win, anyway.

High turn out tends to go in favour of the Democrats and the left in general, usually. But this IS Trump we're dealing with and he may appeal to the masses more. Trump seems to think so too: fortune.com/2016/11/08/nevada-polls-lawsuit/

I read somewhere the other day that some of his supporters were making calls to loiter at polling stations, to ensure people weren't committing fraud (see: to intimidate voters).

Yeah, as I said, high voter turnout scares Trump.

I guess it depends strictly on what kind of "masses" there will be more of - non-whites or poor rural "true Americans"? I feel like an idiot, corralling people like that. But what do I know. I hold that Hillary is going to win just like the poles say she would and its all just hyping up excitment by the media to get ratings. Remember Brexit, Hark (you probably do, oh yes). There is precedent! Yeah, as I said, high voter turnout scares Trump. I've heard his lawyers sued Nevada for having voting booths opened for too long. Even though the law clearly states they must be open until whole queue is served. I think Trump is just covering his ass so he can say to his fans that everything was rigged if he loses. After all, the most important trait of any Glorious Leader is to never fail at anything.

@styx: You forget the Alt-Right! They're... well I'm not entirely sure what to call them aside from verbose, arrogant, internet-dwelling Nazis.

Here is a quote from Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.
"No," said Ford, "nothing so simple. Nothing anything like so straightforward. On its world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people." "Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy." "I did," said Ford. "It is." "So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't people get rid of the lizards?" "It honestly doesn't occur to them," said Ford. "They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates to the government they want." "You mean they actually vote for the lizards?" "Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course." "But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?" "Because if they didn't vote for a lizard," said Ford, "the wrong lizard might get in. Got any gin?"
