AP quick firing Crossbows? Excellent. Though their range isn't nearly as good as the High Elves it seems.

I dunno if you tried playing norsca yet, but they are a lot of fun. They have a thing where if you beat the leader of another norsca faction, that faction will agree to peace and confederate with you/become your vassal. These leads to some amusing dirty tactics. I allied with a tribe and they destroyed the main norse dwarf fotress for me. This weakened their armies and left them out of position. So I attacked my ally, defeating their leader and then (since they were suitably intimidated) they confederated with me. The main norscan faction was about as big as mine and was at peace with me ...but then their leader wulfrik made the mistake of colonising a destroyed settlement near my main army. I immediatley attacked, defeating Wulfrik and, once agian, they were forced to confederate.
Norscan honour isnt about playing nice and being friendly! It's about winning! The strong take what ever they can, and it becomes theirs by virtue of the fact they could take it! You let your guard down, you are going to get crushed!
I am now playing a campaign as Archaon because- 1- chaos have been revamped (That defeating the lead norscan rule applies to them and they are generally way more powerful and work better than before.) 2- What better lord to play as the final campaign before the sequal comes along?

Better hurry! Cause later this month part 2 drops and then there wont be any time for this boring part 1 shit.
Thinking lord packs, and what you said about adding lords to part 1 factions to bring them into part 2...
They could do a set of that griffin lord guy vs Grom the fat goblin fuck (thats his official name, look it up.)
Those two were againt each otehr in the classic elves and goblins box set back in the day, and Grom set out to invade the Elf homeland, so that would make sense as a character to have show up.
Also...looking at the L shape of part 2, I am thinking that part 3 with will an L shape of the east and top of the map. And Iv'e heard the vortex starts summoning chaos warriors, so it could be I was wrong and deamons will be in part 3.

I think you're probably right about Lord Packs being possible. I'd love to see that.
Though is game 2 an L shape? It has four major sections set out in ye old square shape.

its an L shape compared to the old world. Its the stuff down the west side and a bit under it. I think the third one will be the east side adn then the bit above the old world.

It is pretty funny.
Heh. Benedict Cumberelf. I might have been responsible for that... I can't remember... but I did spread it.

Hahah you are taking credit for that one, huh?
Where were you spreading it?
Oh and I tried to watch another archwarhammer video, honestly you were right he really is just insufferable. He was banging on about how bad it is that the high elves have mechannics to manipulate other races diplomatically. I thought that was an awesome idea! It sounds fun to play with gives a sense of the high elves as feeling superior to everyone else and manipulating them to their own purposes.
But apparently he thinks high elves hate spying (something I've never heard of!) He also proceeded to bitch about the fact different factions can ally together or make peace treaties, because norscans should never make peace and dwarves cannot ally with vampires under any imaginable circumstances.
Honestly it just starts to seem like he has no imagination. He has his own version of how things should be and cant even conceive of anything that doesn't fit that. The absolute confidence that his and only his interpretation of the lore is acceptable gets right on my nerves.

This is the earliest possible result I have found for "Benedict Cumberelf". Total War Forums: 7th comment on page 2 of this thread, though I was not the first to say he looked like Cumberbatch, but I may have coined the phrase: "Benedict Cumberelf": forums.totalwar.com/discussion/comment/1791124#Comment_1791124Yeah, its a super cool mechanic. I've always wanted to do something like that in a Total War game. Make these assholes I call "allies" actually not murder each other! I don't see why they wouldn't be manipulative little shits either. Arch also doesn't get this is a Total War game. There are diplomatic mali with certain groups, but only in rare cases can you absolutely not do any diplomacy at all. Because that would be boring. Limiting. Worthless. And he thinks he can sit there and spout it all out like gospel. Annoying.

The idea that people would never ally wiht their ideological enemies is so god damn stupid and simplistic.
WW2 chruchil allied with Stalin! He said he would make friends with the devil himself if it helped them win.
America right now is friends with goddamn saudi arabia!
or Black nationalists allying wiht white nationalists in the past becuase they both want racial segregation!
THese sorts of alliances of convenience happen ALL the time.
Does Archwarhammer live under a rock?

No he's just stubborn, I imagine. Warhammer isn't real life, its Warhammer after all, and Arch knows everything there is to know about Warhammer.
I much prefer Sotek, he's very accurate but produces videos rather slowly.

"Few amongst the other races see the High Elves' mission for what it is, so blinded are they by their own petty concerns and suspicions. To them, the folk of Ulthuan are merely another power jockeying for pre-eminence through the channels of trade, diplomacy and war. They have not the wit to see that if the High Elves choose to trade with another race, it is not out of a desire for coin or armaments. There are treasures beyond the dreams of avarice in the vaults of even Ulthuan's meanest mansion, and the armouries of its kingdoms contain ten times as many enchanted weapons than there are Elves to wield them. However, the High Elves know trade to be something that others welcome and understand, and so use it to gather information and position spies. "
Page 7 of the 8th edition rule book. Arch Warhammer has no idea what he is talking about.
