I just got a Solid State Drive (SSD... or is that Static State Drive? I don't know) and I've moved all my Steam stuff onto it... amazingly quick loading times now compared to what it was before. Rather impressive.

My computer is old and knackered these days. I need to get a new one when I've got the money. (Unfortunately I don't have the money at the minute!)

"And a final word on the name. We know that not all the empires and characters featured in Mortal Empires are ‘mortal’ in the truest sense of the word. But compared with what may be stirring on the distant horizon…"
Daemons? That fact this implies they wont be in part 2 makes me think they will be in part 3. I am thinking part 3 is going to be a chaos fest.
Hmmmif its a new map for mortal empires...that means new races appearing in the old world (skaven in skaven blight and karack eight peaks) becomes entirely possible.

Yup, moving lords seems likely. Not only that, but the Old World Lords might get moved too.
And yeah, either Daemons or Tomb Kings, which aren't really mortal per se anymore.

Tomb kings will be there. The map contains their homeland. Also vampires come under "mortal empires".
I am sure they mean daemon in this context.
I think part 3 will be all about chaos champions and chaos powers battling each other. Back in the day, the "Realm of Chaos" books had loads about that kind of thing, and its a big part of warhammer lore, so I can see them making something interesting with that.

Yeah, and they said distant future, so you're right, they're referring to Daemons of Chaos.

Hahah Im geting like you with Harkovast clues, getting out my white board and adding up all the hints for hidden meanings. Check this out- Heavily implying more minor factions. The signs are good! In other news....I really want Ikit Claw. Ikit Claw has a cool name and a robot arm! What more do you want!

Of course you want Ikit Claw. He's like Skyre Darth Vader. In other news, Skaven are confirmed as getting a FLC Lord first. After the "Mortal Empires" mega campaign thing shows up. www.totalwar.com/blog/mortal-empiresNot only is there a buzzsaw in that picture, but we have been told that it is NOT Thanquol. Thanquol will probably come as a DLC lord pack. We've got Queek and Skrolk... so I imagine that we're probably looking at Ikit Claw as a free lord. Maybe/Probably. Throt the Unclean is another option, I suppose, and we do have Moulder units already so... I guess? Might give us the Assassin character too, I suppose? But seems less likely.

If we have one free lord, and one paid lord pack lord for skaven, one has to be Thanqual (I would put him in the lord pack, cause he would totally sell!) then the other surely must be Ikit! He could give discounts on whacky inventions like doom wheels and lightning cannons and all that crazy stuff.
Deathmaster snitch is the assasin (I have no idea why I know all the skaven characters names...maybe becuase they are all short) and hes very cool...but I dont know if he would work as a lord leading an army, so I would consider him a less likely one.

I agree that the assassin just seems unlikely. Him and Darkblade don't fit. They're not army leaders.
Thinking about it, Throt the Unclean could work as a FLC too. He apparently has been in Lustria before and worked with clan Pestilens. It is either him or Ikit. Considering that we have a bunch of Moulder troops already, and FLC won't come with free troops, Throt may be more likely. After all, we need some more skryre troops that are missing from the roster, and those might come with a DLC.

Okay Ive changed my mind. I think we will get Throt the unclean. One of his traits is that he has an insane metabolism and has to eat constantly. Skaven have a "food" mechannic. He fits too well, they gotta use him!
