Was there much trade between Xalkara and Jaydia? I know contact with Vellastrom was probably rare, but the nations in Jaydia are big into trade, and what sounds like most of the Anzlov race moved across the ocean when they were contacted by Gotetra agents at the height of the Empire.
Most people in Jaydia seem unaware of the Nameless War, but how much do they know about the fate of the people they used to trade with in Xalkara?

In Jaydia there are big powerful nations, but they are mostly focused on each other. Beyond Jaydia is a bit too far away to be super concerned with.
Vellastrom and eastern Jaydia are barbaric, Eslum keep foreign nations at arms length and Xalkara/The West and the white kingdom are a very long way away.
Its not that they are isolationist themselves, its just they have a lot going on their own doorsteps with big advanced rivals.
They were aware of Xalkara, but it was not a big focus in what they were doing.

That's very short sighted, what if someone invaded from Xalkara or the White Kingdom? No one gives a fuck about those places way off yonder and then wham, you're subjugated.

Yeah but they've got rival kingdoms and the freaking Knarl Empire right next to them that seem a more pressing problem!

And to think they probably could have dealt with the Knarl ages ago if they'd had more contact with the Levengroust.

I'm not sure that would be quite as helpful as you expect.

You're telling me they could withstand exposure to death plasma? It's highly toxic!
Hark hasn't elaborated on it's mechanism of action though, so I sort of default to the deadliest chemical weapon I can think of, a nerve agent. Fittingly, the first nerve agent was discovered by chemists developing insecticides, who damned near killed themselves when one of them spilled a drop on a table.

Ha ha, well, I've seen the Knarl and lets just say I'm not sure of the effect even Death Plasma would have on the things. Could maybe do it.

So you've got several different type of bird, cat, and Musteloids (no less than 3, 5, and 5 respectively!), but there's only 2 equids, and you were dead opposed to one of those races until relatively recently!
This is unacceptable!

Well, Hark could add donkeys somewhere in White Kingdom…

I'm on a one man crusade to put equids on every continent!
Except Eldex, they don't deserve them.

Death Plasma would be ineffective against the Knarl.

So... are they machines?
Did the Lel create them, realize they'd finally gone too far, and then fly off to the moon?
